Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 large onions thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

  • Return onions to the skillet with beef. Add rice, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
