Equipment

  • 1 large skillet non-stick preferred
  • 1 pot for boiling pasta
  • 1 whisk for sauce
  • 1 knife for slicing chicken

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter

Alfredo Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly. Slice the rested chicken and arrange over the pasta.
  • Garnish with additional Parmesan and chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Storage

  • Transfer any leftovers to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
