Equipment

  • 1 baking dish 9x13 inch
  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 large pot

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz elbow macaroni
  • 8 oz block of feta cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the heavy cream and milk, and stir until combined. Crumble the feta cheese into the mixture and stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook the macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and return the pasta to the pot.
  • Pour the creamy feta sauce over the pasta, then add the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Mix well to ensure the pasta is evenly coated.
  • Transfer the pasta and sauce mixture into a greased baking dish. If using optional add-ins like tomatoes or spinach, layer them on top before baking.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Serving

  • Allow the dish to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a main course or alongside your favorite sides.

Storage

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave before serving.
