  • 3 cups uncooked pasta
  • 4 cups marinara sauce

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even cooking.
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for a minute. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, ground beef, and marinara sauce. Stir in dried oregano for flavor.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to brown the top.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
