Equipment

  • 1 grill Preheated to medium-high heat
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 Skewers Wooden or metal

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Kabobs

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 fresh peaches pitted and sliced

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine BBQ sauce, honey, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  • Place the chicken cubes in the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
  • Thread marinated chicken, peach slices, and any optional vegetables onto skewers. Alternate ingredients to create visually appealing kabobs.
  • Heat the grill to medium-high. Ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Grilling

  • Place kabobs on the grill. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has grill marks.
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, baste the kabobs with extra honey and BBQ sauce for a sticky glaze.

Serving

  • Remove kabobs from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your choice of sides.

Storage

  • Place any leftover kabobs in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
