Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowls for breading station
  • 1 tongs for flipping

Ingredients

Coating

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Salmon

  • 1 lb salmon fillets skin removed, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 large eggs beaten

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a shallow dish, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs.

Breading the salmon

  • Dip each salmon piece into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, coat the salmon in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes. This ensures even cooking.
  • Place the salmon nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Serving

  • Remove the salmon nuggets from the air fryer and serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces.

Storage

  • Store any leftover salmon nuggets in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to maintain crispiness.
