Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan lined with parchment paper
  • 1 mixing bowl small
  • 1 whisk

Ingredients

Maple Mustard Glaze

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Salmon and Add-Ons

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved (optional)
  • 1 cup asparagus spears trimmed (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, until it's cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • For a caramelized glaze, switch the oven to broil mode and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  • Transfer the salmon and optional vegetables to serving plates. Garnish with fresh dill, if desired, and serve immediately.

Storage

  • Allow any leftovers to cool, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
